‘Keep Breathing’ is the latest effort from Danish electro-pop artist HunBjørn. The production is as crisp as ever, with layers of synths supporting her dreamy lead vocal lines. She mixes a soft subtlety with emotional rawness in her singing, with lyrics focusing on encouraging people to embrace who they are. On the inspiration behind it, she says “I think everybody compares themselves to others, but if it gets out of hand, If you’re afraid of actually doing things that you love, things that makes you happy, it’s really time to take a deep breath and reconnect with yourself”. The track comes alongside a cool video, with a powerful atmosphere being created through seemingly mundane scenarios, culminating with an unexpected borderline murder-mystery.
