Since the release of Hockeysmith’s spiralling second EP Tears At My Age back in January, the Cornwall-based musician has been keeping busy. Putting together a brand new record label alongside Lukasz Kucharski (omoo), EEL (Earth, Eel, Loop) will celebrate a wealth of local talent in the South West. The first release on EEL is one of Hockeysmith’s own. ‘Never Knowing’ is a deeply experimental cut with a euphoric chorus, which channels the bouncier synth vibes of her latest EP, mixed with the darkness of the project’s debut But Blood.
