Inducing the arrival of her second album Birthmarks, comes multi-disciplinarian Hilary Woods' beautifully gruesome lead track 'Tongues of Wild Boar'. Crafted in the winter of 2019 whilst heavily pregnant, the Irish artist toiled over her darkness-steeped compositions whilst splitting her time between Galway and Oslo. Laying foreboding strings over an ominous, dragging kick sound, Woods' contrastingly airy vocals lighten the load, as  she explains: "For me, 'Tongues of Wild Boar' is fierce, pliable and incessant. Navigating emotionally charged states of discomfort and becoming, it is a song deeply lodged in the body that yearns to surface for air and escape its own shadow."
