New Sub Pop signing Heron Oblivion have given us a second peek at their forthcoming self-titled debut album with airy new single ‘Your Hollows’. Although a new project, there are some familiar faces amongst the band’s line up, comprising of notable American psyche-folk singer Meg Baird and members of the band Comets On Fire. What starts as a light ethereal folk song with Baird's distinctively high voice suddenly snowballs into a hulking wave of chaotic electronic guitars, making for trippy listening. With contrasting elements playing off each other, Heron Oblivion are a new entity with an-age old psychedelic philosophy at their heart. -SJ
