HEAVY HEART FRUITFLY

London's Heavy Heart, reveal the latest track from their self-assigned 'song of the month' project in glorious shoegaze-leaning pop song 'Fruitfly'. Their seventh release of the year walks the line between rock and pop contrasting the rough with the smooth in all the right places. Singer Anna Vincent's sugary sweet vocals lull you into a false sense of security as the lyrics "It's feeding time, family. Cyanide and saccharine. Bitter, happy poisoning. They're calling all your children in" tell a more sinister story. Swelling guitars and driving drums propel 'Fruitfly' ever forward and conjuring comparison's to Sky Larkin, Wolf Alice and Slowdive. 'Fruitfly' will be feature on the band's limited edition compilation LP Keepsake. - HLMX
