Now based out of Oakland, Hazel's gentle, translucent coo is woven through spritely guitar hooks, warm, welcoming bass and wistful beats on 'It's Not Real', a track about "the pursuit of perfection." Someone should tell her not to give up, she isn't far off an impeccable lo-fi pop sound here. - DC
