HAZEL ENGLISH MAKE IT BETTER

Ever since she appeared with the beautifully moreish 'Fix' at the back-end of 2015, we've been besotted with Hazel English. The brand of dreamy, lo-fi bedroom rock she makes is effortlessly contagious and the 25-year-old Oakland-based artist appears to be going from strength to strength with 'Make It Better'. Taken from her House Anxiety/Marathon Artists-released EP Never Going Home, this latest number again recalls the work of collaborator Day Wave with its reverb-soaked layers of swooning guitars and metronomic drum hits leading towards a lush, sun-kissed chorus that could sit alongside underrated Belgian newcomers Few Bits. The track comes with news of live shows this November; English continues to make everything better. -G.O'B
