Ambient rockers Haunt The Woods have just delivered the latest single from their upcoming album Opaque, due for a February 28th 2020 release. ‘Supernova’ takes influence from various genres, combining the worlds of prog, folk and pop through the songwriting tropes of the likes of Pink Floyd, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver. As such, the track is an impressive feat of composition, with layers of atmospheric sound being permeated by expertly crafted melodies and pulsating rhythms. Alongside the track comes a sci-fi inspired video, which adds a visual, emotional depth and pushes it even further into the otherworldly realms the band have already worked hard on creating.
