After an achingly long wait for new music from Welsh psychedelia pioneer and ex-Pipettes member Gwenno, she’s made a stunning return with ‘Tir Ha Mor’, the shimmering first single from her new Cornish language album Le Kov. After the success of her 2014 album Y Dydd Olaf, Gwenno dove deep into research learning about attempts to protect and progress the Brythonic language and the role of women throughout Cornish history. 'Tir Ha Mor' is dripping in Gwenno's signature ethereal sound effects, from gleaming guitars to sparkling synthesizers.
