London experimentalists Gum Takes Tooth are gearing up to release their first album with legendary left-field indie label and connoisseurs of psychedelia, Rocket Recordings. Despite some fairly trippy recent singles (see 'Borrowed Lies'), the latest single from Arrow is an entirely electronic offering that delves into the darkness of industrial dance music. Dripping with unsettling synthesizers and harsh metallic tones, the relentless 808 kick drum of 'Fights Physiology' conjures imagery of New Order's iconic 'Blue Monday' in a k-hole. Gum Takes Tooth will celebrate the release of Arrow with a headline show in perfect surroundings at London's goth-friendly Electrowerkz on the 25th of January.
