Patience is a virtue, and for London-based five piece Groves, it seems patience has done them a world of good. Nearly 3 years after their debut track ‘Paperback’ was released, the band are now sharing a stunning new single entitled ‘Do You Feel’ - along with the news that they’ve signed to [PIAS]’s electronic music imprint Different Recordings. We actually caught the band live around 3 years ago, with them performing under a sneaky, alternative alias - Sevorg (that’s Groves backwards) - and the promise they showed then shines through in this new single. Shimmering electronics partner up with spacey synth work, carried forward by skittering drum loops and vibrant harmonic passages. It’s a really strong step up from the band, and we can’t wait to hear what else they’ve been working on. -JC
