Last month we heard, 'Turn Your Body', the ambient first single from Brooklyn-based Krautrock enthusiasts Grooms' upcoming new album Exit Index. With just over a month to go until release, the band are taking things up a gear with their propulsive new track 'Magistrate Seeks Romance'. The opening sounds a bit like if The Stone Roses went crazy with a bunch of effects pedals with its groovy bass line epic drum fills and swirling guitars, which eventually subside to reveal a tamer off-kilter bridge.  Discussing the inspiration behind the track guitarist and vocalist Travis Johnson said: “The song is about how daily life right now readily facilitates feeling like a good person, while behaving like a bad one.” -HLMX
