Described by Cate Le Bon as "a tonic for the curious heart” Japanese-born, London-based musician Grimm Grimm (aka Koichi Yamanoha) has shared the follow up to his stunning recent List Pick 'Something In Your Way'. Lifted from his forthcoming new album Ginormous, which will be released on the 28th of February via Tiptop Recordings/Magniph, 'We've Never Been This Far Before' is a masterclass in melancholy. Once again featuring vocals by housemate and Value Void member Paz Maddio, alongside Yamanoha's own distinctively fragile singing style, 'We’ve Never Been This Far Before' pairs gently phased guitar parts with fizzy analogue synths, reminiscent of Broadcast. Describing the album via Soundcloud Koichi explains:  “I always wanted write an album that sounds like a funeral and wedding at the same time." We think he's done just that. -Holly Mullineaux
