It feels like an age has passed since we first caught wind of Oregon vocalist Grace Mitchell and her divine brace of debut songs, 'Your Design' and 'Broken Over You'. In reality it's been little over a year, but that's more a testament to a) the quality of those tracks, b) the steady songwriting process she's undertaken, and c) our poor time awareness. 'Jitter' is the pick of the bunch off Mitchell's long-awaited new EP Raceday (which is streaming in full at Apple Music now). A scatty, high tempo pop song which dips and soars like a bird in full flight, 'Jitter' shows a remarkable change in the scale of her songwriting - where her previous material revealed sensitive first-person detail, 'Jitter' wants you to throw yourself onto the dancefloor and forget all of that serious rubbish immediately.
