Named after a Suzi Quatro song, Jersey Shore girls Glycerine Queens couldn't be further from the infamously perma-tanned inhabitants of their neighbourhood if they tried. We get that not everyone from NJ dresses and acts like Snookie and her pals but whatever; this fresh-out-of-high-school foursome blitz all the gooiest bits of Warpaint's psychedelic latest effort with some proper old-school surf-rock harmonies and jangle-pop melodies on 'Sleep Deprivation' -  and show they can bare their teeth too, on this faithful cover of Tame Impala's 'Elephant'. We like their blissed-out original stuff best though.
