Ahead of the release of her Wichita Recordings-released album The Orange Glow (due 10 June), Globelamp has unveiled a hauntingly beautiful new single. 'Artist/Traveler' sees the Californian embrace a bucolic, fairytale hue that brings to mind the likes of Kate Bush and First Aid Kit with floating, fantastical production, twinkling piano and increasingly passionate layered vocals. It's a heady concoction that pulls in her variety of influences from psych to punk to nursery rhyme, becoming a cut with the seductive power to pull you away into the dream-world of Elizabeth Le Fey, who has been on this mystical musical path since the age of four. -G.O'B
