With their debut album Touch on the horizon - due 15 July via Midnight Feature/Plastic World - GL are streaming their newest slice of funky synth-pop. With its bouncing bass line, crisp electronic rhythm and glittery hue 'Hallucinate' aligns the Melbourne duo with the likes of EKKAH and hints at a dancing, accompanying LP. Energetic, fully fun and completely catching there's still a clever, underlying sense of melancholy that runs alongside the suitably hypnotic visuals as the cries of "Love, stay" fly out above the warm production. The pair continue to impress after early outings, festival appearances and support slots with fellow-Aussie Chet Faker. -G.O'B
