Girl Ray have revealed their debut single 'Trouble', due 25 November on Moshi Moshi Singles Club. The north London trio blend a hazy, lo-fi sound with progressions of The Beatles, vocal-nods to Nico and the hue of recent indie-world dominating Whitney all pouring through. According to the band, the cut is about "apathy and hating yourself for trying to win pointless arguments in snakey ways,” say the band. “It’s about turning into someone you don't like." The band are currently on tour with Haley Bonar and Slow Club; good company indeed. -G.O'B
