Deep House Amsterdam has recently dropped their latest in a long list of exciting releases, this time in the form of ‘Dimmet’ by Fringe Society. Inflicted with soulful power and modern twists, the piece never dulls. At one moment, jazzy lead lines are flowing around the soundscape, and the next squelchy basslines are filling the stereo field. Once known as Quell, the Greek Berlin-based producer has been pumping out floor-filling tunes for years, but the EP ‘Dimmet’ is taken from (which combines “dreamy cosmic-psychedelia, chugging dance-workouts and explosive peak-time bangers”) stands out as his finest yet. -Dan Peeke
