The Free Nationals have been making a name for themselves as Anderson. Paak’s band, but now they are ready to step into the limelight themselves with their first single ‘Beauty and Essex’. Daniel Caesar's impeccable falsetto floats over the syrupy sweet melody provided by the Free Nationals, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s contrasting vocal style comes off brilliantly and blends with the track. The sensuality of the track is captured in lyrics like “Sun shines through my window, your head on my pillow” from Caesar, as he relives a night of passion with his lover.
