We've been writing about Newbury-born singer Frances for a while now. She's been hot on the release trail recently, with her Grow EP set to be immediately followed up with another short-player, Let It Out. Frances continues to hit all the right notes on 'Borrowed Time', but what really shows here is her adaptability, wrapping her delicate and at-once punchy tones around Howard Lawrence's wobbly dance-pop beat where previously gentle pianos were her main accompaniment.
