Producer Barnaby Matthews and vocalist Conor McCabe of Melbourne-based duo Fortunes certainly know how to mix up genres, influences, and sound pools with consummate depth and intensity. Latest track ‘Bomber’ is a kaleidoscopic treat, eloquently scripted in lyrical intent and offering up an intoxicating blend of hip hop, R&B, electronica and classic soul. After hearing 'Keeper' just over a year ago, we were instantly hooked and think you will be too. Whilst we await new music, stopping by the band's Soundcloud page will convey their impressive diversity. Here's hoping Fortunes will grace English shores very soon. -LB
