Any regular visitors to this blog will know how much we back East London twosome Fine Print to get the job done. Their self-titled EP is easily one of the most complete electronic debut short-players of 2015, and they're not even remotely finished yet. Even on a mere handful of spins, new standalone single, 'Snakes' is possibly our favourite track of theirs. Capturing the essence of the Fine Print EP - bubbling synths, sleek crooning vocals, earwormy sampling - and distilling it over the course of three-and-a-half minutes of coldly coruscating commentary on surreptitious "snakes in the grass" is no mean feat, but they've absolutely crushed it once again. - DC
