Swedish Krautrockers Fews have shared their glorious industrial re-work of legendary new-wave synth-master Gary Numan's 'Metal'. Pounding Jaki Liebezeit-inspired drums are met by a gloomy yet powerful post-punk bass line and jagged guitar, giving the original fuzzy analogue synth track a high-energy makeover. Bassist Jay explains, “We were spending so much time travelling and listening to music on those dates and intermittently we’d all get excited about something we’d heard. 'Metal' was that track and consequently saw Fred demo a version and having included in our live show, the reaction it got meant that we decided to record it properly.” - HLMX
