‘English Weather’ is pretty self-explanatory from its first lyric: 'All I want to do, is sit alone on purpose sipping a brew, watching as the bus goes by, supermarket trousers, think I’d rather die'. Englishness oozes through the track in its lyrics, but musically, influence from bands such as Gorillaz and Oasis shine through in the jangly psychedelic chords and atmospheric pop production. FEET have said on the creation of the track’s music video ‘the setting for the vid is the famed Solent Breezes of Hampshire, the band’s official Brexit hideaway of late 2018.
