It's no secret that Oh Sees front man John Dwyer has excellent taste in music. Formed back in 2006 with co-founders Matt Jones and Brian Lee Hughes, Castle Face Records has become way more than an outlet to release prospective Oh Sees records. Manchester quartet Duds are the newest addition to Castle Face's ever-evolving roster, and their first single is an absolute scorcher. 'Elastic Feeling' is a frenetic mixture of wiry guitars, chaotic percussion and erratic brassy interludes, which come together in a captivating 2 and a half minutes of accomplished nervous energy. Duds' creative approach is a fresh take on a genre made famous by their label's co-founders, toeing the line between brooding post-punk, experimental jazz and straight up garage rock.
