It'd be remiss of us not to mention that Dua Lipa shares the same management as Lana Del Rey, but there's nothing cynical about her music - two songs in and it's clear she's a singular talent who'll never have to ride anybody's coattails. Following the impossibly infections 'New Love' up with 'Be The One' last week, Dua has provided possibly the hardest one-two pop punch of the year. Taking 'New Love''s laidback catchiness and pumping it full of even more thrilling vocal hooks, sunburst synths and grooving beats, 'Be The One' simply screams Sound Of 2016. - DC
