DIZZY TWIST

Canadian indie-pop band Dizzy are back with another timeless listen, ‘Twist’. Katie Munshaw’s genteel vocals float wistfully over patterned synths and keys courtesy of brothers Charlie, Alex and Mackenzie Spencer. ‘Twist’ is another chapter in their coming-of-age story that portrays the limbo one often feels when you’re no longer a child, but not yet an adult. However, Dizzy’s next album isn’t about the suburban tale of figuring life out, but what they’ve discovered while travelling and touring the world. Speaking about the melodious new single, Munshaw states that Twist is really about missing someone so badly that you see them places and get really excited, and then realise it’s not them. It's about the hold someone can have over you even after they've left your life." ‘Twist’ coincides with Dizzy’s return to the UK, so if you’re around London next month be sure to catch them at All Points East Festival on June 1st or Notting Hill Arts Club on June 2nd.
