Rightfully known in their native Spain, Barcelonian electronic foursome Delorean are becoming a hot international commodity and new single 'Muzik' goes a long way to cement that. The title track from their new album, out 22 June on PHLEX, starts a glitchy hum of distortion before plateauing into a lethargic groove. Peppered with spiralling synths and samples, there is a delicious mash of sounds colliding underneath the soft singing. At times it seems as if it will run loose and out of control but the band cleverly keep it from the brink of chaos with more regimented sections. With plenty more where this came from, Delorean deserve jumpstart over here. - SJ
