Spanish pals Carlotta Corsials and Ana Garcia Perrote began jamming out the two tracks which formed their debut single 'Demo' - a AA-side featuring slacker-pop gems 'Bamboo'/'Trippy Gum', and released via Lucky Number - on their lonesome. But with live shows around the UK and Europe, including two nights supporting their heroes The Libertines pencilled in, Deers have officially become a foursome with bassist Ade Martin and drummer Amber Grim joining the ranks. Their first release as a fully fleshed-out band, 'Castigadas En El Granero' (which translates as 'Punished In The Barn') now has a cheery, low-key video in which the girls take on new identities as Mark, Tim, Cole and Brendon to churn out more elastic, infectious hooks and charmingly rickety drums.
