Dama Scout got off to a flying start with their debut release ‘Forget It’s Good’, whose unique brand of roughed-up shoegaze earned the band global press spanning Spain, Japan and BBC Introducing. Hailing from London and Glasgow, the band are back with ‘All In Too’, which is due for release on 25^th November. Style wise, the track is gloriously old-school, with grungy, muffled, Strokes-esque guitars cutting through dreamy vocals. It therefore comes as no surprise that apparently the band recorded elements of ‘All In Too’ on a broken laptop microphone, giving the track an authentic bedroom-produced feel. Keep an eye out for Dama Scout who are playing at Victoria, Dalston on 7^th December alongside Few Bits and Penelope Isles. ­–HM
