Brooklyn's Crumb have fast become one of our favourite new bands here at TMR. With a faultless track record of intoxicating alt-pop singles, including 'Nina', the phenomenal recently-released lead track from their forthcoming debut album Jinx, the innovative quartet have just unveiled another winner. Pairing washy descending guitar lines with tastefully funky bass lines and vocalist/songwriter Lila Ramani's effortlessly cool vocals, 'Ghostride' is a concise yet accomplished example of Crumb's unique ability to fuse intricate jazz elements, with lucid psychedelia in a way that's totally refreshing and bang-up-to-date. Already marked in our calendar as one to watch out for, Crumb will self-release Jinx on the 14th of June. -Holly Mullineaux
