Melanie Mohlkert - aka Cronicle - has shared a new track in the shape of 'Head Up And High'. The first single to come on new home, London label Tournament Records, it's a swooning, electronic-coloured number centred around a kinetic, wholly infectious chorus. The Stockholm/London project will entice fans of empowering pop, and it will perhaps come as no surprise that Mohlkert cut her teeth in a pop-punk band. Bursting with as much fist-clenching energy as it is ready for mainstream attention, this is a serious statement of intent from Cronicle. -G.O'B
