London beatmaker Couros is with the same management stable as superstar DJs/producers Annie Mac and Fake Blood. Judging by his stickysweet new track 'Never Be', the man himself has designs on becoming a mainstay of Annie's party-starting Friday Night show. Zinging samples, sultry vocal chops, flickering drum pads and sleek synth loops melt together into one joyous slab of up-for-it post-Disclosure pop-house. Stellar stuff, and although there's - probably deliberately - not much info out on Couros now, expect that to change very soon indeed. - DC
