The second single from an album we've been eagerly awaiting, Coby Sey's 'Onus' is a critical and contemplative cut. Described by Sey as "a reminder of the importance of people power in critical times of neglect," the intimate track progresses masterfully, shifting the emphasis from Sey's impactful words to a darkly-lit beat that sees out the piece, ultimately leaving room to ruminate. He continues: "There’s both little room for open-ended interpretation and a lot of room for people of different marginalised communities to be reminded that there's still some common ground; it is still possible to affect things when united."
