We've been writing about London-based producer and vocalist Club Kuru for as long as he's been releasing music. Laurie Erskine's atmospheric debut track 'All The Days' still fits perfectly on our sad bangers playlist, while the swirling UV-pop thrills of 'Seesaw' proved even harder to resist. In recent times, Erskine has gravitated towards a more contemporary school of electronica, with stylish beat flourishes, glitchy guitar hooks and yearning synthesizer swells playing a key role on 'Layla', and now 'Flat Out Lie'. Both tracks will feature on the Layla EP, due out later in the month. - DC
