‘Yano’ is an Afro-inspired house release by Claudio Ricci for his latest Yano EP. This remix, by Makossa & Megablast, features on the release and adds their own trademark spin on the original piece. The use of a variety of exciting percussion adds to the, at times, almost tribal-sounding track, with some retro synths being used to create subtle melodies. Originally from Vienna, Makossa & Megablast have been working together since 2004, and this remix is the latest in a huge back catalogue of work, which includes the underground hit ‘Soy Como Soy’. -Dan Peeke
