Having emerged a few years ago, the Lancashire singer has gone through a slow evolution via various labels and her latest offering 'Darkest Hour' is a next level anthem for someone that has never given up the hard work. Born out of the feelings of being trapped, it's a fighting song full of triumphant vocal pushes. We love how she scales it up and down with silky quieter moments before once again raising the roof. The accompanying video only increases the drama and after watching, it's black and white that Charlotte OC's time is here. - SJ
