Released through The Long Echo, Bunraku’s latest ambient track ‘Ginza’ is a gentle, highly textural recording designed with a calming feeling in mind. A paddy synth leads us in with an echoing, airy almost vocal quality before a piano fades up into a persistent polyrhythmic pattern. The pad returns at various intervals throughout the track, but the consistent rhythm and occasional interjections from otherworldly sounds are what give such a unique tone to the composition.
