Toronto-based artist Breeze has shared his new album, Only Up, alongside the music video for the single ‘Let It In’. His unique work has been compared to a blend of post-punk and disco, with sonic nods to new wave music. The grooving track places squelching acid basslines with Stone Roses-esque drum-breaks and endlessly memorable melodies and sets them all to a perfectly experimental video. On the album, which was created through a mixture of hard work done completely alone, and carefully selected collaboration, Breeze explains: “It was the best way I could have done it. A strict deadline to make decisions, move on and focus on things that matter the most. I was writing, recording, arranging and mixing at the same time, all while people were sending overdub ideas.
