Brandon Can't Dance has revealed '17', the lead track from his LXVE EP, a six track collection of newly remastered songs released via the taste-making Lucky Number (Hinds, Alex G). And with nods to the typically lo-fi material coming from the label, the Philly multi-instrumentalist creates a brilliantly musty, bedroom-grunging outing thanks to the drudging yet gently uplifting concoction. There's hints of Elliot Smith, as the vocal pines low in the mix and the DIY aesthetic shines throughout. Brandon may not be able to dance, but when it comes to lo-fi alt. rock, he moves good. -G.O'B
