BNQT have shared their latest single in the shape of 'Mind Of A Man'. Featuring Fran Healy of Travis on lead vocal duties, the track, which is taken from the indie super group's Volume 1 record, out 28 April via Bella Union, is a wonderfully bucolic indie cut complete with Midlake-esque, string-infused instrumentation and a driving rhythm section that steadily sweeps proceedings along with a timeless, folk hue. Of the track Healy explains, "When I presented 'Mind of a Man' to the guys, at that stage just a piano and vocal demo, they asked me for any thoughts I may have for a vibe or direction but I told them I would prefer to sit and watch them do it all with a caveat that I would make a noise if it was going in a direction I felt wasn't right but they are such accomplished musicians, I knew it would be cool. And it was. The song is about how fucking dumb men can be." Dumb maybe, but it's another inspired song from BNQT. -G.O'B
