Binki is very much under the radar, with nothing to find out about him other than the fact that he is based somewhere in the U.S.A and he has released two singles prior to the most recent, but with a tune with this much 'Hey Ya' pop sensibility, that doesn't seem to matter. 'Sea Sick' uses fast guitar strums that mix an indie anthem punch with dancey, chic flow. The rhythm section is bouncy and the vocals blur the line between rap and singing - both soulful and sturdy. In the verse, catchy melodies buoyantly sing: "Tell me I'm amazing, like, even when I'm wasting, Treat me like a patient, I got no ambition, unless I'm feeling lifted...At least I'm sinking right beside you". The funk groove kicks in in the chorus, lead by the springy bass line, where vocals become more monotone and distorted repeating: "You can be my sunshine even when its grey". 'Sea Sick' is a single that will get you hooked with its breezy spirit and warm hearted honesty. -Ellie Rose Davies
