Canadian artist BEYRIES has released her first single in English since the release of her debut album Landing in 2017, while typically she writes and sings in French. While we’re open to songs in all languages, ‘Out Of Touch’ has reached us here at TMR and my word, we’re truly blown away. There’s a viable tension throughout the song, not only due to BEYRIES’ emotive vocals, but also the theatrical percussion and warm, retro production. It’s an intoxicating listen that wrapped you in layers of heart-pulling strings, pertinent percussion, impassioned piano chords and bittersweet harmonies.
