BDRMM THE WAY I WANT

If you're a fan of Slowdive's blissed out, shoegaze soundscapes then there's a pretty good chance you'll enjoy the newest single from rising quintet bdrmm. 'The Way I Want' is the second single from the Hull-based dreampoppers, which follows their promising debut 'Kare'. Produced by Alex Greaves at The Nave who the band describe as "big man!", it's a nostalgic trip back to the nineties delivered in the ever-popular bedroom pop style. Taking inspiration directly from a lack of it, as singer Ryan Smith explains: "I was woken up by a phone call from someone I didn’t want to speak to, so I put Pavement on, made some scrambled eggs. I had a day off work and wanted to write something new but had no inspiration so just used my morning as the influence." Sounds like a pretty nice morning to us. -Holly Mullineaux
