Bath two-piece Bad Sounds are a peculiar offering. Having served up an excellent debut track in 'Living Alone', the pair promptly disappeared off the face of the earth, only to return recently with another earwormy indie-pop number, 'I Feel'. Now their tongues edge further into cheek with the delightfully ballsy 'Banger'. It feels a lot more like the finished article - the duo previously had a habit of tagging their works as 'demos' - with glossy vocals painted over rumbling bass and burnished guitar riffs. We're not sure if it wholly constitutes the title, but that chorus on its own is festival-field indie of the highest quality. - DC
