West-London outfit Babeheaven are putting their best foot forward this week, unveiling a stirring new single, entitled ‘Moving On’. Born out of a long standing friendship between singer Nancy, and guitarist Jamie, they look set to turn a lot more heads with this potent new offering. At the heart of ‘Moving On’ is a tale centred around a relationship, that may or may not be doomed (who really knows?). Nancy’s celestial vocal exploits are carried expertly by a lively trip hop-tinged rhythm section, paired exquisitely with carefully plotted guitar chords and rousing electronics. Sitting somewhere between Zero 7 and Portishead - Babeheaven are an incredibly exciting proposition.
