East London's Azekel has unveiled a new piece of brooding R&B, the latest taste of a forthcoming EP Raw, Vol 2. Written, produced, performed and mixed by the Massive Attack collaborator, 'Linger' is a typically slow-burning, brooding affair that sees Azekel's seductive falsetto weaving out above intricate production work that provides a sultry, late-night bed for proceedings. Explaining the lyrical inspiration Azekel said, "Linger is a song where I wanted to express the qualities of a relationship that are often invisible to everyone but the two people involved…Where there is a spiritual presence and otherworldly closeness between a couple that transcends just the physical."
