London's audiobooks have just announced their debut album Now! (in a minute), with its whimsical opening track 'Mother Hen'. Following 'Hot Salt', their most traditionally structured track to date, 'Mother Hen' is a starkly experimental contrast; ambling along at its own pace as layer upon layer of Ling's improvised vocals build on top of Wrench's whirling synth flourishes. The pair explained, “We wrote and recorded this on the second day we hung out. Evangeline was so excited to do more work that she travelled across London in her Batman pyjamas so as not to waste any time.” Now!
