Ambient producer Arael has dropped this atmospheric track alongside fellow producer Haven. ‘Entropy’ creates an ethereal landscape through the reverb heavy synths and heavenly voices that ring across the stereo field, contrasting the often quite dance-inspired drum patterns that give an exciting feel to the otherwise mellow, relaxing release. The trap influence can be felt throughout, with many of Arael’s past releases (such as the well-received ‘Night Terror’ and ‘Lemonglow’) taking on a similar influence. The production is what stands out the most, though, with every possible gap in texture being filled. -Dan Peeke
